“I was very close to Woolmer”- Younus
Yunus said, “I was very close to Bob Woolmer. We used to sit together and discuss cricket, but it can be called unfortunate that we were not together the night Woolmer passed away. Actually, we lost to Ireland. I was also very disappointed with the defeat of that match and my own performance. As soon as I reached the hotel, I went to my room and locked myself. The next day we came to know about his death. I did not see him at breakfast time.

He was also a diabetes patient. There was also blood on his mouth. Jamaica Police later came to the conclusion that he was not murdered, but died due to health reasons. However, many questions have also been raised on the actions of the Jamaica Police. Bob Woolmer was born in 1948 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. After that he played cricket with the England team.
