The Indian Women’s team will play 2 warm-up matches before the T20 World Cup.

Before the T20 World Cup, the Indian women’s cricket team will participate in a 10-day skill camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bengaluru. Head coach Amol Majumdar will supervise this camp starting from September 10.

India’s entire squad will participate in the Women’s World Cup to be held in UAE next month along with reserve players Yastika Bhatia and Shreyanka Patil who are recovering from injuries.

Yastika, Shreyanka recover from injury According to the report of Cricbuzz, women’s cricket team’s wicketkeeper batsman Yastika Bhatia has recovered from knee injury and off spinner Shreyanka Patil has recovered from finger fracture. Both of them will join the team tomorrow at NCA.

Yastika suffered a knee injury in the first match of the 5-match T20 series against Bangladesh in March this year, since then she is undergoing treatment at the NCA. Shreyanka suffered an injury to her left hand in the first match of the recently held Asia Cup against Pakistan.

intra-squad The team will play the match The women’s team will also play some intra-squad games to prepare for the World Cup. Which will be played at Aloor at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Where due to lack of lighting, the Indian team will have to play this match during the day. While the 2020 World Cup runners-up will have to play three of their four Group A games at night, excluding the match against Pakistan on October 6.

The women’s team will play intra-squad matches at the Aloor Stadium in Bengaluru.

The team will leave for UAE on 24 September After the intra-squad match, the players of the Indian women’s cricket team will get a break of 4 days. After which it will leave for UAE from Mumbai airport.

Women’s team for World Cup

India’s first match on 4th October The women’s team will start its World Cup campaign with 2 warm-up matches. The first practice match will be played against West Indies on 29 September while the second against South Africa on 1 October at the ICC Academy in Dubai.

India will play its first match of the World Cup against New Zealand in Dubai. Whereas on October 6, it will face arch-rival Pakistan. India will play the last match of Group A against defending champion Australia in Sharjahan on October 13.

India’s performance in the Women’s T20 World Cup so far

10 teams will participate in T-20 World Cup Women’s T-20 World Cup is to be played in UAE from 3 to 20 October. 10 teams will participate in this World Cup. 23 matches will be held in 18 days. India is in Group A with 6-time champion Australia. Apart from this, this group includes Pakistan, New Zealand and a team from the qualifiers. Whereas host Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies and Qualifier-2 team are in Group B. All the matches of this group will be played in Dhaka.
