Aadhaar is an important document in our country. Many times we do not keep it with us due to the fear of its loss or damage. But do you know that you can also download its virtual copy (PDF file).

This is the process to download it
- First of all UIDAI Website Go to.
- After this go to My Aadhaar section and click on Download Aadhaar.
- After this, you will get the option of Download Aadhaar on the next page. Click on it.
- After this enter the Aadhaar number and captcha and then click on the Request OTP button.
- An OTP will be sent by UIDAI to the mobile. Enter it in the relevant box and then click on Download Aadhaar.
- After downloading Aadhaar, open the PDF file by entering the first four letters of the name and year of birth.
If damaged, new base can be made
If your Aadhar card is lost or your old Aadhar card is damaged, then you can easily get a new Aadhar card sitting at home. Not only this, you can also order PVC Aadhar Card. Polyvinyl chloride cards are known as PVC cards. It is a kind of plastic card, on which Aadhaar card information is printed.
This is the process of making PVC Aadhar card?
- For this you will need UIDAI Website But you will have to apply online.
- By going to this website you will have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
- After this you will have to fill the security code or captcha.
- Click on Send OTP for OTP.
- After this, fill the OTP received on the registered mobile in the given blank space and submit.
- After this, you will have to go to ‘My Aadhaar’ section and click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’.
- After this you will see your information here. Here click on Next option.
- After this you have to click on the payment option given below.
- Where you will get the options of credit/debit card, net banking and UPI.
- After this you will be sent to the payment page. You will have to deposit a fee of Rs 50 here.
- After completing the payment, the order process of your Aadhaar PVC card will be completed.
- After the entire process is completed, UIDAI will print the Aadhaar and hand it over to India Post within 5 days.
- After this the postal department will deliver it to your home through speed post.
You can make a new card offline also
If you do not want to get it done online, you can also get it done offline. For this you will have to go to the Aadhaar center. By going there you can easily get your new Aadhar card made.
A charge of Rs 50 has to be paid
For making a new PVC card, a fee of Rs 50 will have to be paid. This card contains secure QR code, hologram, micro text, date of issue and printing of the card and other information.
