Rules Changed From 1st June 2024: From today i.e. June 1, there are going to be changes in many rules which will have a direct impact on your and our lives. Driving license is the most important among the rules which are being changed. Let us know which rules are being changed?
1- New rules for driving license come into effect from today
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced new rules for driving licenses. From June 1, 2024, any person will be able to go to a private driving training center and give his test. Earlier these tests were conducted only in RTO offices. All these centers will be authorized by the government to conduct tests and issue certificates.
Through the new rules, the government wants to remove about 900000 old vehicles. The government is making these efforts to control the increasing pollution.
2- Children will have to pay a fine of Rs 25,000
If you drive at high speed, you will have to pay a fine of Rs 1000 to Rs 2000. At the same time, if a minor is caught driving, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 25,000. Also, the registration of the owner of the vehicle will be cancelled. At the same time, a minor person will not be able to get a license issued for 25 years.
3- Aadhar Card Update
If you want to update your Aadhar card, then get it done by June 14. Anyone can easily update Aadhaar card online. Whereas, if choosing offline, the person will have to pay a fee of Rs 50.
4- When will banks remain closed in June (Bank Holidays In June)
According to the holidays issued by the Reserve Bank, banks will remain closed for 10 days in the month of June. Of these 10 days, 5 are Sundays. At the same time, there will be holiday for bank employees on second and fourth Saturday also. Apart from this, banks will remain closed on different dates in different parts of the country on festivals like Raj Sankranti and Bakrid.
5- Changes in rules related to SBI credit card
Recently, State Bank of India Card had said in its notification that reward points will not be available on government related transactions on some credit cards. This rule has come into effect from today i.e. June 1. The bank has released the complete list of such credit cards.
