Tata Motors has launched Altroz Racer in the Indian market today. This is India’s first car in the premium hatchback segment, which has 360 degree camera, wireless charging, ventilated seats and voice assistance electric sunroof. Apart from this, the car has a powerful 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine and its exterior, features and safety have also been upgraded.
It is the sporty version of the regular Altroz, offered in three variants – R1, R2 and R3 and priced starting at Rs 9.49 lakh (introductory ex-showroom pan-India). Tata Altroz Racer will compete directly with Hyundai i20 N Line.

Altroz Racer Exterior Design
To give the Altroz Racer a sporty feel, more styling elements have been given than the regular Altroz. These updates include a new grille and dual-tip exhaust. Apart from this, it has been given a dual white stripe from the hood to the end of the roof.
The car comes with dual tone exterior color option. This includes Atomic Orange, Avenue White and Pure Gray colors. Black treatment has been given on its roof, bonnet, wing mirrors, window line, spoiler and all three pillars A, B, C. The Altroz Racer comes with 16-inch dual tone alloy wheels with black inserts.
Altroz Racer Interior Design
The cabin of the racer has a sporty interior design, which will have a black dashboard layout with colorful accents in the exterior color and contrast stitching on the seat upholstery. Apart from this, there is also exterior colored ambient lighting.

Tata Altroz Racer: Performance
The standard Altroz has a 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol engine with 110hp power. The racer will get the Nexon’s 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is a more powerful engine with 10hp power and 30Nm torque.
Compared to the regular Altroz, a new 6-speed manual gearbox will be provided in the sporty version, apart from this, the option of 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission can also be given in it.
