Strangled, dead body cut into pieces
A former beauty queen from Switzerland has been brutally murdered by her husband. Christina Joksimovich, a Miss Switzerland finalist, was murdered in Binningen, near Basel. Christina, 38, was allegedly strangled to death by her husband. After this, the husband adopted many disgusting tactics to hide the dead body. He cut the body into pieces. He then tried to hide the body by grinding the body pieces in a blender and dissolving them in acid. Christina’s body was later seen by an unknown person and the husband was arrested the next day.
How was it revealed?
This matter came to light when Christina’s body was found in a mutilated condition in February. After this the officials started investigation. Police soon determined that she had been strangled before being dismembered. Her husband, known as Thomas in the media, has confessed to the murder. Swiss media outlet FM1 Today reported that Thomas dismembered his wife’s body using a saw, knife and garden shears. After this he used a hand blender to grind the remains and tried to melt them by adding acid. When the matter came to light, the investigating officers were also heartbroken.
Attacked to protect himself – Accused
Whereas husband Thomas has claimed that he committed this murder to save himself. He alleged that Christina had attacked him with a knife. However, this could not be proved in the medical report. Examination of the dead body revealed how his body had been cut into pieces. The court in Lausanne rejected his appeal for release. According to the court, the mental condition of the accused is bad.
Police had come earlier also in connection with domestic violence
Christina and Thomas were married in 2017. Both of them were living a prosperous life in a big house. Christina also posted recent photos of herself just four weeks before the incident. However, according to a friend of both of them, their marriage was not going well for months. A report said police had previously been called to their home in connection with domestic violence.
