Share Market Live Updates 5 July: Due to mixed signals from global markets, the domestic stock market is likely to have a flat start today i.e. on Friday, July 5. US stock markets remained closed on Thursday due to holiday. Whereas, Asian markets remained mostly bullish. Today GIFT Nifty was trading at 24,360 level, which is about 17 points below the previous close of Nifty futures. This signals a dull start for the Indian stock market indices.

Earlier on Thursday, the benchmark indices of the Indian stock market closed at a record high with a slight gain and the Sensex closed above 80,000 points for the first time. However, on this day Sensex touched a new all-time high of 80,392.64 and Nifty was successful in touching the level of 24401.

The key indicators for Sensex today are as follows

Asian Markets: Asian markets remained bullish on Friday, with Japan’s major benchmark indices touching new highs, Live Mint reported. Japan’s Nikkei 225 gained 0.46%, while the Topix gained 0.06%. This is his new record level. South Korea’s Kospi gained 0.45% and Kosdaq gained 0.25%. Hong Kong Hang Seng index futures indicated a decline.
