On Pakistan tour, Bangladesh has to play both the test matches in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made changes in the venue of the second match of the two-Test home series against Bangladesh. Bangladesh has to play a 2-Test series on its Pakistan tour.

The first match is to be played in Rawalpindi from 21st August. Whereas the second match was to be played from August 30 at the National Stadium in Karachi in the presence of no spectators. PCB has also decided to shift the second match to Rawalpindi. Actually, ICC Champions Trophy is to be played in Pakistan in February next year. Its matches are to be held in Karachi. In such a situation, renovation work is going on in the National Stadium of Karachi. The PCB issued a statement on Sunday saying that our construction experts informed us about the timeline for the preparation of the venue. He advised that construction could continue during the match and the noise could cause discomfort to the players. Along with this, the dust emanating from construction work can also affect the health of players, officials, broadcasters and media.

A match between Pakistan and England will also be held here
Before the Champions Trophy, a match of the England team which is going to tour Pakistan this year is also proposed in Karachi. This match is to be played from 15 to 19 October. In such a situation, PCB does not want to take risk on anything.
Pakistan has to play 7 test matches this season
Pakistan has to play 7 test matches in the home test series this season. There are 2 Test matches to be played against Bangladesh in August and 3 Test matches against England in October. In January next year, the West Indies team will tour Pakistan to play a 2-Test series. Apart from this, triangular ODI series has to be played. In which teams from New Zealand and South Africa will be included. ICC Champions Trophy is to be played in Pakistan in February.
