Paris paralympics 2024 Live: Paris Paralympics has started from 28th August and will continue till 9th September, although the Indian team will start its campaign from today i.e. 29th August. This time India is fielding its largest ever Paralympic contingent, in which 84 athletes will participate in 12 sports. The contingent is led by a 38-member para athletics contingent, which also includes Tokyo 2020 para javelin champion Sumit Antil. India achieved unprecedented success at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, winning a total of 19 medals including five gold, eight silver and six bronze. This was the most successful Paralympic campaign in the history of the country. With a larger team and wider participation across different sports, India will look to further improve its performance at Paris 2024.
