Today is the 10th day of the Paris Paralympic Games. India will participate in 5 medal events. The semi-finals of two events will be played there. India has so far won 27 medals in this Paralympics.The finalists of men’s and women’s singles of US Open 2024 have been decided. In men’s singles, world number-1 Jannik Sinner of Italy will face Taylor Fritz of America in the title match on Sunday. The final of the women’s singles will be played between America’s Jessica Pegula and Belarus’s Arina Sabalenka. There will be a new champion in both the categories. Highlights of day 9… On Friday, India won the 27th medal in the Paris Games. Two medals were won on this day, one gold and one bronze. Praveen Kumar won the gold medal in the first Men’s High Jump T-64 final. He jumped 2.08 meters, creating an Asian record. This is India’s sixth gold in this Paralympic Games. In the shot put F-57 final, Hokato Hotze Sema won the bronze medal. He made a personal best throw of 14.65 metres. India’s Soman Rana finished 5th in the same event.
