Pakistan team is on the verge of its first defeat against Bangladesh in the Rawalpindi Test. The team has lost 8 wickets for 139 runs in the second innings. At present the team is leading by 22 runs and two sessions of play are left. Mohammad Rizwan is unbeaten on 48 and Khurram Shahzad is unbeaten on 1 run. Opener Abdullah Shafiq was out after scoring 37 runs and Babar Azam was out after scoring 22 runs. Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh has taken 3 wickets.
Earlier, Bangladesh team was all out for 565 runs in the first innings. Pakistan declared the first innings on the score of 448/6. Mushfiqur Rahim played an innings of 191 runs for Bangladesh in Rawalpindi, while Mominul Haq (50 runs), wicketkeeper Liton Das (56 runs) and Mehdi Hasan Miraz (77 runs) played half-centuries. Naseem Shah took 3 wickets. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Khurram Shahzad and Muhammad Ali took 2 wickets each.

Shadman-Mominul made fifty partnership
Opener Shadman Islam then took over the innings with Mominul Haq. Both of them took the team beyond 100 runs. Mominul was out after scoring 50 runs and his 94-run partnership with Shadman was broken. He was sent to the pavilion by Khurram Shahzad, who had also bowled Shanto. Shadman Islam was out after scoring 93 runs.
Shakib out cheaply, Liton-Mushfiqur took over
Part time spinner Sam Ayyub got the legendary Shakib Al Hasan caught out. Shakib could score only 15 runs. The team had lost 5 wickets on the score of 218 runs. From here Mushkifur Rahim and Liton Das took over the team.

Rain stopped play on the first day
There was heavy rain in Rawalpindi a day before the match, due to which the outfield remained wet on the first day of the Test. Due to which it took 3:30 hours for the toss to take place and 4 hours for the match to start.
