Nifty has made a new all time high today i.e. on 12th June. It touched the level of 23,441 during trading. However, after this Nifty came down slightly and closed at 23,322 with a gain of 58 points.
At the same time, Sensex also saw a rise of 149 points today. It closed at the level of 76,606. Energy and metal shares had higher gains. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 have gained and 12 have declined.
Due to market boom
- There was mixed trading in the American market on Tuesday. The Dow Jones closed at 38,747, up 0.31%. The S&P rose 0.27% to close at 5,375.32.
- Foreign institutional investors sold shares worth Rs 111.04 crore on June 11. Domestic institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 3,193.29 crore. Due to this, the sentiments are bullish.
- Retail inflation figures for May will be released this evening. According to experts, it may decrease. Retail inflation rate in April was 4.83%. The market is getting support from this.
Last day of Le Travenews Technology’s IPO
Today (June 12) is the last day of the initial public offering (IPO) of Le Travelogue Technology, the parent company of travel aggregator ixigo. This IPO has been subscribed more than 18 times in the retail category. Before listing, the company’s shares have reached a premium of 38% i.e. ₹ 36 per share in the gray market. According to Gray Market Price (GMP), its listing can be at ₹ 129 (93+36=129) in terms of upper price band ₹ 93.
For this IPO, the retail investor will have to apply for a minimum of one lot i.e. 161 shares. The company has fixed the IPO price band at ₹88-₹93 per share. If you apply for 1 lot as per the upper price band of IPO at ₹93, you will have to invest ₹14,973. Retail investors can bid for a maximum of 13 lots i.e. 2093 shares, for which they will have to invest ₹ 194,649.
There was flat business in the market yesterday
Earlier yesterday i.e. on June 11, flat trading was seen in the market. The Sensex fell 32 points and closed at 76,457. Whereas Nifty rose 5 points and closed at the level of 23,264. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 15 were rising and 15 were declining.
