Before the India tour, former all-rounder Jacob Oram has been appointed the bowling coach of New Zealand. He will replace Shane Jurgensen, who is stepping down in November 2023. Oram will officially join on October 7.

The Kiwi team has to play a 3-Test series against India from October 16. During the series, Oram will have to work with new faces like Ben Sears and Will O’Rourke.

Oram has 10 years of coaching experience. He started his career as the bowling coach of New Zealand A team in 2014. Since then he has been working as a coach.

Jacob started his career as the bowling coach of New Zealand A team in 2014.

Was also the bowling coach of women’s team
Oram has also been the bowling coach of the New Zealand women’s cricket team. He remained associated with this team from 2018 to 2022. He has also coached many franchise teams.

Oram has 472 wickets and 9500+ runs in his name.
Jacob Oram has represented New Zealand in 33 Tests, 160 ODIs and 36 T20 matches. He has more than 9500 runs and 472 wickets in his name in all three formats.
