India won 7 gold medals in Paris Paralympic Games.
India ended its journey with a historic performance in the Paris Paralympics-2024 by winning 29 medals including 7 gold. On the 10th day, Saturday, 7 September, the country got 3 medals. The closing ceremony of the Games will take place on September 8 at 11:30 pm.
With the help of these medals, India stood at 16th position in the medal tally. The country won 7 gold, 9 silver and 13 bronze medals. This is India’s all-time best performance, before this the country had won 19 medals including 5 gold in Tokyo.
On the last day, India’s javelin thrower Navdeep won the silver medal in the men’s F41 category, although Navdeep was given the gold after the disqualification of Iranian athlete Beit Sayah Sadegh.
