22-year-old Manu became the first female shooter to win a medal in shooting for India in the Paris Olympics. On the very second day of Paris Olympics, Indian shooter Manu Bhakar had won bronze for India. She won the medal in the Women’s 10 meter Air Pistol event with 221.7 points.
Manu won her second medal in the 10m pistol mixed event with Ambala shooter Sarabjot. The pair defeated the Korean team 16-10. Manu became the first Indian to win two medals in one Olympics. Manu returned from Paris early in the morning on Tuesday.

The best-8 shooters from each event of the 6 World Cups held this year, the winners of last year’s World Cup finals and the shooters who won medals in the Paris Olympics will participate in the Shooting World Cup Final.
