Mahindra & Mahindra has started booking XUV 3XO in India today. You can book it online and offline by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000. Its delivery will be done from 26th May. It is India’s first compact SUV in the sub-4 meter SUV segment equipped with features like panoramic sunroof, level-2 ADAS safety feature, auto hold, electronic parking brake and dual zone climate control. This car is the facelift version of XUV300, which was launched in the Indian market on April 29 with a new name.

Mahindra has introduced it in nine variants – MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 L, AX7 and AX7 L. It has 16 color options with 3 engine options. The company claims that the car gives a mileage of 20.1kmpl. The ex-showroom price of XUV 3XO has been kept between ₹7.49 lakh to ₹15.49 lakh. In the segment, it will compete with Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite Maruti Suzuki Swift and Toyota Urban Cruiser Tagger.

XUV 3XO was launched in India on 29 April.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Exterior Design
Talking about design, the look of 3XO has been completely changed. At the front, it gets all-LED headlights with integrated DRL’s, a redesigned headlamp housing and a redesigned grille. There is no change on the side of the car except for the new 17-inch alloy wheels.

The rear of the SUV gets connected taillights, bold XUV 3XO badging, an integrated spoiler, high-mounted stop lamp and a redesigned tailgate with a scuff plate. XUV 3XO is available in seven color options – Citrine Yellow, Dune Dust, Nebula Blue, Deep Forest, Stealth Black and Everest White. Dual-tone color option is given in the higher-spec PRO variant.

Mahindra claims that the approach angle of XUV 3XO is 23.6 degrees and departure angle is 39.6 degrees. At the same time, the depth capacity of the car to enter water is 350mm. Compared to the previous model, boot space has been increased from 257 liters to 295 liters and it also gets standard 60:40 split-folding seats.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Interior updates and features
The biggest highlight feature of the cabin of Mahindra XUV 3XO is the panoramic sunroof which is not found in any other car in the segment. The dashboard layout of the car is given like XUV400 EV. Here a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is available in the center. Below this, an updated center console and new central AC vents are provided.

The infotainment system also supports AdrenoX connected car technology with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The design of the steering wheel remains the same, but behind it there is a 10.25-inch digital driver display. Metallic pedals are also provided in XUV 3XO for sporty feel.

Talking about the features, the new -C charging and much more is available.

XUV 3XO will get 3 engine options

Talking about performance, MX1, MX2 Pro, MX3 and AX5 variants will get 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which generates power of 111hp and torque of 200Nm. For transmission, it will have the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Whereas, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX7 and AX7L variants will get 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, which generates 117hp power and 300Nm torque. For trans missions, it will be available with the option of 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearbox.

AX5L, AX7 and AX7L variants have a 1.2-litre turbo direct injection petrol engine with 130hp power and 250Nm torque. This engine will be available with the option of Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic and 6-speed manual gearbox.

Safety Features
For safety, features like 6 airbags, rear disc brake, ESP and ISOFIX anchor are available as standard in all variants. The high-spec variant will get features like auto-hold, hill-start and hill descent assist along with an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera and blind spot monitor. Features like Level 2 ADAS (Segment First) have been provided in the car. Level 1 ADAS technology is available in Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue.
