Team India has won the title of T20 World Cup 2024. All-rounder Hardik Pandya played an important role in India’s victory. Pandya took 3 wickets for 20 runs in 3 overs in the final match played between India and South Africa. Hardik cried bitterly after India’s victory.
Hardik scored only 5 runs in batting, but did wonders with the ball. Took the wicket of Heinrich Klaasen who had scored 52 runs on 27 balls. When 12 runs were needed in the last over, David Miller and Kagiso Rabada were dismissed.
After the victory, Hardik shared a photo with the trophy on Sunday. ‘Good morning, India. It wasn’t a dream, it’s true. We are world champions.
Surya’s memorable catch, dangerous Miller out
Suryakumar Yadav took a brilliant catch of Mila against South Africa. When South Africa had to score 16 runs in 6 balls and David Miller was at the crease. Hardik bowled a low full toss on the off stump. Miller played a shot which went beyond the boundary. Suryakumar took the catch while going out of the boundary, bounced the ball and completed the catch after coming inside the boundary.
While sharing the photo, Surya wrote the caption, ‘It’ll be a good night’s sleep.’
FIFA World Cup shared the photo of Team India
After India became the world champion, FIFA World Cup has also shared the photo of Team India. Along with the photo of the team, he has shared the photo of when Argentina won the World Cup in 2022. When Argentina won the FIFA World Cup in 2022, team captain Lionel Messi also walked like Rohit to the podium to collect the trophy.
