Have you ever seen a player being fined for playing a match? Probably not, but it could happen to Spain’s young sensation Lamin Yamal during the Euro 2024 final. If 17-year-old Lamin Yamal plays for the full 90 minutes against England, he may face a fine of Rs 27 lakh under Germany’s labor law, which his team will have to pay. Lamine Yamal will celebrate his 17th birthday a day before the Euro 2024 final against England. At just 16 years and 362 days old, Yamal became the youngest-ever scorer at the Euros when he scored in the 21st minute of the semi-final against France in Munich earlier this week.

When kicks and punches rained during the Copa America semi-finals, Uruguayan star Nunez clashed with the fans.

Despite Yamal’s brilliant performance, Spain coach Luis de la Fuente will not be able to play him the entire match against England.

According to Germany’s labor law, youth under the age of 18 cannot work after 8 pm (local time) on any day. There is a slight advantage for athletes, who are allowed to “work” until 11 pm.

England reached the final of Euro 2024 after defeating Netherlands, there will be a title clash with Spain on this day

The Spain vs England Euro 2024 final will start on July 14 at 9 PM local time. In such a situation, Spain will have the first 60 minutes to play Lamin Yamal. If even after this the team does not call Lamin Yamal out of the field, then under the German Label Law, the Spanish Football Association will be fined 30 thousand euros i.e. approximately Rs 27 lakh.

De la Fuente said earlier this month, “I don’t know if there’s any law in Germany that says lamines have to be removed at 11 p.m. … We don’t think so.”
