Paris Olympics bronze medalist shooter Sarabjot Singh has rejected the job offer of Haryana government. Sarabjot, a resident of Ambala, was offered the post of Deputy Director in the Sports Department by the Haryana Government. But he does not want to get a government job by taking this post. Sarabjot Singh said that the job is good and it is not a matter of accepting the job, but I will not do it right now. I want to work on my shooting first. My family is also telling me to do a good job, but I want to shoot right now. Sarabjot said that I do not want to go against some of the decisions taken by me, so I cannot do the job right now.

Sarabjot Singh played his role in getting India’s second medal in the Paris Olympics. Sarabjot, along with Manu Bhakar, won the bronze medal in the 10 meter air pistol mixed team shooting event. Sarabjot Singh had met Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini along with Manu Bhakar on Friday. Haryana CM had offered jobs to both of them after the meeting. Minister of State for Sports Sanjay Singh had offered both the shooters the job of Deputy Director in the Sports Department in the presence of the Chief Minister.
Sarabjot is a resident of village in Ambala district.
Shooter Sarabjot Singh is a resident of Dheen village of Barara block of Ambala, Haryana. His father Jatinder Singh is a farmer and mother Hardeep Kaur is a housewife. He has completed his studies from DAV College Chandigarh. He has won the gold medal in the Junior World Cup in the year 2019. Sarabjot Singh has been a part of the Indian shooting team in the 2022 Asian Games in China. He also won the gold medal there with the team. Sarabjot also won a silver medal for India in the Asian Games shooting competition.
