1. There will be a rise in the stock market after the election results: PM Modi said – Sensex reached 25,000 to 75,000 in 10 years, there was an increase in PSUs.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is confident that after the results of the Lok Sabha elections on June 4, there will be a rise in the stock market. Prime Minister Modi said in an interview with NDTV that during the “election week”, or the week when the Lok Sabha election results are declared, the market performance will show who is coming back to power.
PM Modi further said that when our government came 10 years ago, the market was at 25,000 (Sensex) and now it is at 75,000. Look at PSU banks, the value of their shares is increasing. Shares of many government companies have increased more than 10 times in the last two years. PM Modi took oath as Prime Minister for the first time on 26 May 2014.

2. ONGC’s fourth-quarter profit increased by 78% to ₹ 11,526 crore: Income increased by 1.64% on an annual basis, company will pay dividend of ₹ 2.50 per share.

The company has announced a final dividend of ₹ 2.50 per share to its investors for the financial year 2024. Companies give some part of the profits to their shareholders, it is called dividend. ONGC has released its fourth quarter and annual results today i.e. on 20th May.
