Bangladesh gave a clean sweep to Pakistan at home and won the test series 2-0. Bangladesh’s morale is high after the historic victory over Pakistan. Now the team would like to repeat similar success in India also. The team also has to play a 2-Test series against India from September 19.
If Bangladesh is successful in winning even a Test on the India tour, it will be a big achievement for them because till date they have not been able to defeat Team India in this format.
Also, India has lost only 4 out of 45 Tests at home in the last 12 years. In these 12 years, the Indian team has not lost any test series at home.

1. Liton Das, wicketkeeper batsman
Bangladesh wicketkeeper batsman Liton Das scored a match winning century in the second test of the series against Pakistan. It was only because of his century inning of 138 runs that Pakistan could not gain a big lead in the first innings. He also became the only Bangladesh player to score 2 Test centuries against Pakistan.
Litton had also scored a fifty in the first test and was the player of the match in the second test. He was the third top run scorer in the series with 197 runs in 2 innings. He has performed well in limited overs cricket against India. Therefore, in India, Das can take Bangladesh to big scores with his batting.
29-year-old Das has scored 2655 runs in 43 Tests at an average of 36.37. He scored 4 centuries and 17 half-centuries with his bat. Against India, he has scored 265 runs in 5 tests at an average of 37.85. He has only one fifty to his name.
2. Mushfiqur Rahim, wicketkeeper batsman
Bangladesh’s experienced wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim also played an important role in the series win against Pakistan. He gave the lead to the team by playing a brilliant inning of 191 runs in the first match. Rahim was the second top run scorer in the series. He scored 216 runs in 3 innings at an average of 108.
37-year-old Mushfiqur has scored 5892 runs in 90 Tests at an average of 38.76. During this period, he scored 11 centuries and 27 half-centuries. Mushfiqur is the top run scorer of Bangladesh. He is often seen in form against India, he can prove to be dangerous on the pitches of Chennai and Kanpur.

3. Shakib Al Hasan, all-rounder
Experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan could not perform as per his status in the Test series against Pakistan. However, he played a big role in the team’s victory by taking 4 wickets in the first test. He scored 38 runs in 3 innings of the series at an average of 19.
37-year-old Shakib has scored 4543 runs in 69 Tests at an average of 38.50. He has 5 centuries and 31 fifty to his name, he is the third top run scorer of Bangladesh. From bowling, he has taken 242 wickets, which includes 19 5-wicket hauls and 2 10-wicket hauls in the match. Shakib is Bangladesh’s top wicket taker and is also the left arm spinner with the highest wicket taker in international cricket.
Shakib has scored 376 runs in 8 tests against India at an average of 26.85. He could score only 2 fifties. He took 21 wickets with the ball. These include one 5-wicket haul. 4. Mehdi Hasan Miraj, all-rounder

5. Nahid Rana, fast bowler

Nahid led the team to success on many important occasions in both the Tests against Pakistan. He does not have experience of playing against India, but with his height and speed he can cause trouble to the Indian batsmen.
