Corridor will be built from airport to hotel A special corridor has been made in Kanpur on Tuesday to take the players from the airport to Hotel Landmark. 2 IPS deployed for team security The security of both the teams will be the responsibility of 2 IPS officers who have been deployed on match duty from other districts. No outsider will be able to reach the players. However, intelligence police personnel along with LIU (Local Intelligence Unit) have been deployed at Landmark and Vijay Villa hotels.
These two IPS officers will also have access to the lobby outside the players’ room, through which they can keep an eye on the people coming and going. 4 thousand police personnel deployed for security Additional CP Harish Chander said that in view of the match, about 4 thousand police personnel have been deployed on duty from the stadium to the players’ hotel. Duty has been imposed by dividing the stadium and hotel into different sectors. Officers have been deployed for surveillance in sectors and zones. So that no police personnel can commit any mistake.
