After being selected in Pro Kabaddi, Praveen Thakur reached his home for the first time last evening. During this, the local public gave him a grand welcome at Arki sub-divisional headquarters. On this occasion, a large number of people including father Jairam Thakur, mother Hem Lata Thakur and brother Dinesh Thakur were present.

Education received from Chandi School

Praveen’s early education took place in Chandi Arki’s school, where during his studies from class 6th to 12th, Praveen learned the intricacies of Kabaddi under the guidance of his guru Bhaskaranand Thakur. Praveen always dominated in school level competitions.

Coach Bhaskar Thakur honed

Coach Bhaskar Thakur honed Praveen’s talent and sent him to coach Sanjeev Thakur at Khelo India Center Rajpura Hostel, where he received international level training. Praveen Thakur has become a source of inspiration for the youth of the area.
