Social media account of public sector lender Canara Bank was hacked. The company has given this information today i.e. Sunday (June 23). The company said that its official
“All relevant teams are investigating the matter and Canara Bank is working closely with X to gain access to the X handle as soon as possible,” the bank said. The bank asked its users and customers not to post anything on the @CanaraBank_X page.
The bank informed that its Facebook account was hacked.
This is the official X account of Canara Bank. The hacker has replaced the name of the bank with a dot (.). This account has more than 2.55 lakh followers.
Last week Axis Bank account was hacked
According to the bank, the hacker had changed the name of the bank’s official X handle to ‘ether.fi’. Apart from this, the location was changed to Cayman Islands. About a week ago, the official X handle of Axis Bank was hacked. The hacker had removed the name of the official account and replaced it with a full stop.
