There is an increase in the prices of gold and silver today i.e. on 6th June. According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), 10 grams of 24 carat gold has become costlier by Rs 871 and reached Rs 72,857.

Talking about silver, today one kg of silver is being sold at Rs 90,643 per kg, which has increased by Rs 2,113. Earlier on June 5, silver was at Rs 88,530 per kg.

Gold price in 4 metros and Bhopal

  • Delhi: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 67,450 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 73,570.
  • Mumbai: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 67,300 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 73,420.
  • Kolkata: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 67,300 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 73,420.
  • Chennai: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 68,000 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 74,180.
  • Bhopal: The price of 10 grams 22 carat gold is Rs 67,350 and the price of 10 grams 24 carat gold is Rs 73,470.

So far this year gold has increased by more than 8 thousand rupees
According to IBJA, so far this year the price of gold has increased by Rs 8,545. On January 1, gold was at Rs 63,352, which has now reached Rs 71,897 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of one kg silver has increased from Rs 73,395 to Rs 88,351.

Gold can go up to Rs 85 thousand in next one year
According to Anuj Gupta, Commodity and Currency Head, HDFC Securities, an increase in gold and silver may be seen in the coming days also. In the next one year, the price of gold can go up to Rs 80 thousand to Rs 85 thousand per 10 grams. Whereas silver can also reach Rs 1 lakh per kg.
