Today the first qualifier match in IPL will be between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from 7:30 pm. The toss will take place at 7:00 pm. The team that wins this match will directly reach the finals. The losing team will get a chance to play Qualifier-2 to reach the final.

KKR never lost Qualifier-1
KKR has won the IPL title twice. It has played Qualifier-1 twice and won the tournament along with the match both times. KKR will play the playoff match for the 8th time. Lost the final once, twice in the eliminator and twice in the qualifier-2 round. kKR first qualified for the playoffs in 2011 and last reached the knockout stage in 2021.

Hyderabad entered the playoffs for the 7th time
Sunrisers Hyderabad has reached the IPL playoffs for the 7th time. The team reached the playoffs for the first time in 2013, which was the team’s debut season. SRH last reached the top-4 in 2020.
