The horrific accident occurred during the opening lap of the Formula Two race ahead of Formula One’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The car of this 23 year old Indian driver suddenly stopped and the cars of his fellow drivers Josep Maria Marti and Oliver Goethe coming from behind collided with his car.
In this horrific accident, the rear part of Kush’s car was completely destroyed but he managed to get out safely. Kush’s father Gautam confirmed to PTI that his son is fine. “He is fine,” he said. All medical examinations of Kush were conducted as per standard protocol and all reports are normal. Kush represents Invicta Racing Team in Formula Two races. He is at 11th place in the table of the current season. Safety in motorsport has improved significantly over the past two decades but the sport remains dangerous.
