In the 2012 Olympic Games, Saina was competing against China’s Wan Jin for the bronze medal. Saina had lost the first game 18-21 and was trailing 0-1 in the second game. After this, Van Zin’s leg got twisted and she had to be out of the match, she had to withdraw her name from the match and in this way Saina captured the bronze medal. Saina has hinted at retiring from badminton.
