Medalists of Paris Paralympics return to India

Indian para athletes were given a warm welcome at the airport.

Two-time gold medalist shooter Avni Lekhara said at the airport – The journey to Paris Paralympics was good, this time we won many medals.

Avani Lekhara is a 2-time Paralympic gold medalist.

Shooter Manish said- Thanks everyone for giving so much love Indian Paralympian shooter Manish Narwal won the silver medal in 10 meter air pistol. Fans lifted him on their shoulders at Delhi airport. Shooter Manish Narwal won the silver medal in 10 meter air pistol.

Archer Rakesh said- We will perform better Para archer Rakesh Kumar has won the bronze medal in Archery Mixed Doubles of Paris Paralympics. On his return to India, fans garlanded him. Rakesh Kumar won the bronze medal in Archery Mixed Doubles in Paris Paralympics.

Shooter Mona said- I am feeling very good Mona Aggarwal, who won the bronze medal in 10 meter air rifle at the Paris Paralympics, was given a grand welcome at the airport. Thrower Pranav said – my hard work paid off India won 2 medals in club throw at Paris Paralympics. Dharambir won gold and Pranab Surma won silver medal. Regarding the welcome at the airport, Pranab Surma said – The hard work I had done bore fruit, so I am very happy.

India’s medalists so far in Paris Paralympics

84 athletes from India participated The closing ceremony of the Paris Paralympics will take place on 8 September. In this event which lasted for 11 days, 84 players from India participated in 12 games. In which India has so far won 27 medals including 6 gold, 9 silver and 12 bronze. Avni gave India its first medal in this Paralympics.
